Body World

October 11 was a busy day for me. I went to Body World in Salt Lake City. It was pretty crazy! Have you ever seen a naked person not even wearing their own skin? It is weird, wild, and wacky. Let me show you some pictures (I didn't take the photos- no photography allowed..so thanks to various sites).

Guess What

I went to the firestation today for fun. I learned a lot. Guess what else...I still am not sure what career choice is the right one. That is all, over and out

My Life Dilemma

Ok. Trauma nurse? or EMT? or trauma nurse? or EMT? Since 7th grade I have wanted to be an EMT (emergency medical technician). Then I decided that EMT hours were not ideal. So then I turned to nursing and I did an internship in the ER at the hospital. Then I went to college and here I am. Up until recently I was okay with being a trauma nurse. It wasn't a first responder, but it was a next-to-best thing. In fact, being a trauma nurse was starting to sound rather nice. But now I am not so sure. Almost daily I hear sirens, and they pull at my heartstrings like nothing I've known. Everytime I hear sirens I just feel a pang of longing and I want to follow the sirens. I don't know why, it isn't something I can control. I just really really want to be an EMT. And don't think I haven't considered ways of getting an ambulance to come to me. If there is one thing that would distract me enough for me to get in a car accident, it would be an ambulance.
So what do I do? Tomorrow a local firestation is having an open house. I am going of course. This is like Christmas coming early!

A Great Experience

Today at work I had a really neat experience. A young man came in with another man who was both physically and mentally challenged. I helped the young man and then I turned to help the man in the wheelchair. The first thing he did was stick out his hand and say he wanted to shake mine. He asked my name and told me I was beautiful. I asked his name and we had a short conversation. He then proceeded to order and when I had handed him his food, he told me I was awesome. Minutes later as I was getting off my shift, I walked by their table and he waved goodbye to me. What an amazing person for so readily accepting me even though he didn't know anything about me. I wish everyone was like that. He is by far one of the coolest people I have ever had the priviledge of meeting, and I won't soon forget him....

HAHAHAHA

Some kid in my nutrition class just belched like nobody's business. I am currently cracking up

Sorry

But I am a college student. Cut me some slack! I can't post about every little thing in my life. Anyway, half of it is boring boring boring. Well, Halloween is quickly approaching! I went shopping with Cara to buy decorations for our store. I am so excited! We bought 800 feet worth of spider web, spiders, ghosts, bats, candy corn, orange lights, and chinese lanterns. We are going to buy pumpkins and paint them for the store. Pictures to follow. You will love it and then you will request me to be your next designer.

My, my, my...has it been a week already? A message from my friend Florence:

Hi everyone! If you care to know, Jenna and I have been friends since 7th grade. and I must tell you about Jenna's first true love! In either 8th or 9th grade, Jenna and I walked home, and in one of those lovely afternoons we came across a male specimen. He was odd looking, I thought so at least, but not Jenna. For her he was an angel, it was love at first sight actually. Everyday on our journey to the center of the earth, Jenna's boyfriend, as we named him, would say "hi" to Jenna, and as he did he would gaze into her eyes, and she into his. They would gaze into each others eyes like a cheesy movie. Although it was awkward for me, I could do nothing except pretend like I didn't want to die. And I wish I could say that they lived happily ever after, but they only broke into songs every once in awhile. I can tell you that they did reunite in high school. Now, once again they are separated. So if Jenna seems like a bitter old hag at times its because her true love will forever hold her heart. Please stay tuned for more stories about Jenna's past.

Note from Jenna: that is all a lie
