It seems all I ever do anymore is study. Well- THATS about to change! But, I figured you were probably wondering how I was going about my studying. So I thought I would show you. This is how I am studying for my anatomy final.

These letters stand for muscle names. See the APL? That stands for Abductor Pollicis Longus. Thats right...I know that now. EPB= extensor pollicis brevis
If you ever have muscle questions, come to me. I'll help you, and don't worry. I won't draw on you.

Out With the Old, In With the New!

Goodbye nasty, old, gross brush. I have to be honest- I never loved you. Not even for a day.
Hello new, pretty, shiny, green-handle brush. I love you already.

Three weeks until school is out, three weeks until I get my life back.

Lets talk about my life shall we? Recently I:
1. was informed that the word "crap" is not allowed in anatomy lab
2. bought a coat at Savers with the original tags still on it. Retail: $100.00. Saver's price: $20.00
3. went to Color Me Mine for the first (but certainly not last) time ever
4. bought a bracelet that I will probably only wear 5 times in my life
5. informed my microbiology lecture teacher that animals are "hoofed" not "whooped"
6. called my awkward home teacher to set up an appointment for "whenever you want"
7. tried to burn down the microbiology lab while attempting a dance party on the tables with little Bunsen burners as back lights
8. successfully achieved my 5th (fifth) month of not having a visiting teaching assignment
9. bought boots. Boots.
10. received a missionary letter
11. stole my electric blanket back
12. woke up at 5:45 am and had time for breakfast
13. updated my mp3
14. found the most amazing toothpaste in the whole world
15. fell in love with Glee!
16. wore black, brown, blue, and orange all in the same outfit in an effort to stay warm
17. developed a bad habit of speaking in a southern accent
18. continued my favorite habit of speaking in a british accent
19. committed to more piano jobs than I can fulfill
20. found my theme song for people that bother me
and last but not least....
21. taken 24 TESTS since August 26th

Fall Break

First off- do I fail at blogging or what???
Second...Here is what I did for fall break:
Some good eats at Apollo Burger:

Then an impromptu family photo shoot. Can you spot the difference between the two photos?
Third times the charm!
Then time for a cheeseball moment:
Then we went to the Museum of Art, and I married the Museum. Look at the size of that rock!
All-in-all it was a good day. Alls well that ends well.

What Could be Better?

Does it get better than automatic hand sanitizer dispensers distributed all over campus?
YES....when the sanitizer comes out as foam and smells like Bath and Body Works' Country Apple!!!

Why I Need to Work at Google!

This is how life is for people who work at Google.
They slide from one level to the next.
Massage anytime you want:
Tech support when your computer goes on the fritz. Snacks and drinks for free while you wait.
Chatty booths so you can attend to personal business:
BOATS to sit in and white boards that line the whole wall. I love, love white boards.
A library to sit and sip beverages in:
An aquarium room with massage chairs to relax in:

Woe is Me

Look what I did today running out to my car on the way to church:

Just a sprain, but lots of pain.

Poor Dave

I am currently taking an anatomy course. I bought a textbook for said anatomy course. The textbook was previously owned by:
Dave V. whoever he is.

Dave V. was kind enough to read my book and copiously highlight everything of importance.

Sometimes, almost whole sections are highlighted, because Dave is just that way.

Until this page. On page 200, Dave stopped highlighting.
In the very middle of the page, in the middle of the sentence, Dave just stopped.
And for the rest of the book, Dave ceases to make his appearance.
And I feel so lonely and lost, because Dave told me what to study.

It makes me wonder if something horrible happened. I know he wasn't shot because there is no blood splatter.
But I don't know anything else. Was he tragically killed? Did he just drop the class? Did he naturally drop dead? I am quite curious...

My New Addiction

I am a poor, starving, poor, poor college student. I cannot afford even the fastest of foods. But then I found this puppy:

For a whopping 95 cents (including tax) I can have enough ice cream and cookies to feed a small country. Maybe a couple small countries if everyone shared politely.

Thank you Macey's for making my dreams come true.

My new habit: eatting burritos. Here is how it goes: I have class in the mornings, then I rush home, change my clothes, and head off to work. I don't want to buy food everyday because that gets expensive, right? So right when I walk in the door to change, I throw a frozen burrito in the microwave and it is ready to go by the time I am changed. I grab the plate and head out to my car. Once in the car, I start the engine and turn the AC on full-blast. Then I rip my burrito in half, and hold one half of it in front of the little air vent. It cools rapidly and I shove my face. Then I repeat with the second half. By the time I get to work (5 minutes later), I have finished my burrito and am ready to work!
Great plan right? NO! My car smells like burrito. Why? I dunno...maybe its the cooling process, maybe its the fact that I leave the beany plate in my car to get hot until I take it home......gross, I know. My favorite part is when there is the perfect ratio of burrito-air to non-burrito-air that instead of smelling like a burrito it smells like body odor. That is most definitely my favorite part. Hands down.

On the underground:

We went to see Phantom of the Opera...

Fish and chips, always a must!

I grew up loving these. Then I found this giant troll and my heart did a little flip of love

London Eye (a huge ferris wheel)

Westminster Abbey

Tower of London

We went under THE London Bridge

The Tower Bridge

We also went to see Wicked

Big Ben

Buckingham Palace. The Queen and I are practically family by now.

And we saw Lion King...
